first and foremost, when my health allows, I am a writer. I primarily write zines but I am also working on a novel. With creating zines, I enjoy working in collage and print/copy machine manipulaiton. my focus in writing is sifting through my life for the bits that feel useful enough that they might help other people, whether that's through informational zines like Go Date Yourself or personal zines like Chasing Cars.
secondarily, I am a game designer. in a strange twist of fate, this is probably my work that the most people have encountered. my solo journaling game Over the Mountain has been downloaded over 10k times. Across all of my games, they've been downloaded over 25k times. Most of my game design I keep and play for myself, but every now and then when I think I've got something better than my average, I like to throw it up on itch.
I've also dabbled in making music: personal music here, old band here. I still write songs pretty regularly though I don't quite have the set up to record them like I used to. but who knows, maybe there will be more EPs someday!
you might notice that a lot of my stuff is offered completely for free. I am in a relatively privleged position right now and I personally find money stressful and demotivating. I like being able to have exchanges with others that aren't shaped by commerce. this allows me to offer something for folks who have little to no money and let others with more save theirs to spend on folks who need it more. if you'd like to support my work, I'd love if you'd leave a review, share it with someone, or print a copy out to send out into the world.
